The DOCN-71 analyzer is an accurate instrument designed to continuously monitor dissolved oxygen of process water in industrial/municipal applications. The DOCN-71 system measures DO concentrations up to 20 ppm and is easily calibrated with the DOE-53 sensor in atmospheric air. To aid the user during calibration, the analyzer includes a temperature measurement mode. A front panel switch selects the DO or temperature measurement mode and a bi-color LED above the display indicates the selected mode. The analyzer's 312 digits liquid crystal display provides ppm DO and 0-40°C, measurements. Housed in a 12 DIN, compact NEMA 4X enclosure, the analyzer mounts on a panel, surface, or pipe using the two stainless steel brackets provided.
The 4-20 mA output can represent a segment as small as 10% of the DO measuring scale span, utilizing a range expand feature. The segment may be set to any range within the measuring scale. For controlling, a relay may be selected to respond to increasing or decreasing ppm reading. An Auto/Off/Manual mode switch provides added control flexibility. The dual-alarm relay has two individually adjustable controls to establish low and high alarm points, so that an alarm device can alert the operator of a DO level outside the preset limits. The DOE-53 sensor features a long-lasting semi-permeable membrane. Routine, periodic cleaning is the only maintenance required. The sensor design consists of a membrane, electrodes, and electrolyte in an easily replaceable cartridge, which provides continuous service of 6 to 12 months.
The DOCN-71 dissolved oxygen controller is priced at $1910
